At this time we understand the blessings that can come from open adoption which could include planned visits, phone calls, and emails. We will definitely write letters and send photos to keep you informed and involved. And if you wish we would hope that you could correspond with them as well.
We plan to be very open about adoption with our children, providing them with age-appropriate information about adoption and answering their questions to ensure that they have accurate information.
If our children feel a desire to meet their birth parents when he or she is older, we will be sensitive to their needs and lend our support. We would love the opportunity to meet the birth parent(s), if they express a desire to do so.
